Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) Review

Directed by George Lucas

Starring Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen

Plot: After someone attempts to assassinate a Senator, two Jedi (McGregor and Christensen) are brought in to protect the real one. Anakin confesses his feeling towards her. While Obi-Wan discovers the existence of a Clone army. Then, a huge war breaks out.

Review: I watched this at the drive-in back in 2002. I always liked this a little more than Phantom Menace, but the whole love story angle ruins it. I understand what Lucas was trying to do. The dialogue is really silly and Christensen is awful at delivering it. The lightsaber duel between Yoda and Count Dooku (The late Christopher Lee) is great and definitely the highpoint in this. McGregor did well with what he was given and the Williams score was also good. This is the second worst in the series.
