Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) Review

Directed by George Lucas

Starring Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen

Plot: After killing a Sith Lord, Anakin Skywalker (Christensen) is upset by the way the Jedi counsel treats him. He becomes friends with a Senator who reveals that he knows the way of the force. Anakin then turns to the darkside and kills everyone who opposes his new friend. So, Obi-Wan (McGregor) must confront his friend.

Review: Easily the best prequel. It’s so action packed and has tons of neat little things about it. It’s also the most heartbreaking. McGregor did a really good job at displaying the fact that he failed and you feel sad for him. The scenes where the Jedi are hunted down can bring tears to your eyes. The lightsaber duels were top notch on this one. You feel the stakes in the duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan, you feel the emotions. I get goosebumps when Vader first breathes in the suit. It’s a good Star Wars flick and is actually one of my favorites.
