25 Days of Strange Christmas Flicks-Day Fifteen-Jack Frost (1997)

Directed by Michael Cooney

Starring Scott MacDonald and Christopher Allport

Plot: An insane murderer named Jack Frost (MacDonald) is being transported to a prison, but is sidetracked when his convoy crashes into a truck carrying some kind of strange DNA stuff, it spills on him turning him into a snowman. He’s hellbent on getting revenge on the town’s Sheriff (Allport).

Review: It’s a good bad movie. I love it and is probably one of the best Christmas horror films. It’s a very humorous and lighthearted film. The special effects are well done for an A-Pix flick. A-Pix, of course, gave us such pieces of poo like Uncle Sam, The Fear, and The Fear: Resurrection. But, this is their best.  So, if you haven’t seen it, watch it and remember don’t take it too seriously.
