Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) Review

Directed by Richard Marquand

Starring Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford

Plot: Luke (Hamill) and the gang go to Jabba the Hutt’s palace to rescue Han Solo (Ford). After that Luke is told to confront Darth Vader for the final time.

Review: It’s a good one, but it’s my least favorite of the original trilogy. I always felt the final battle on Endor was lacking something. Everything with Vader and Luke is pretty good. It honestly doesn’t feel like much of a finale though. I do say that the special edition had a pretty good ending. I’m talking about the 1997 release and not later editions that added Hayden Christensen into things….oh, Leia slave bikini..
