25 Days of Strange Christmas Flicks-Day Twenty Five-Black Christmas (1974)

Directed by Bob Clark

Starring Olivia Hussey and Margot Kidder

Plot: It’s Christmas time at a Sorority house. The house full of young women have been getting disturbing phone calls. The calls continue to happen while people go missing. The police come in to track the calls, will they be able to find out what’s going on?

Review: This is hands down my favorite Christmas horror. It’s got so much going for it. The atmosphere and mood. The characters are likable, the score is so unsettling. Bob Clark who directed my favorite Christmas film, A Christmas Story and my favorite sex comedy, Porky’s made this one. He did a good job. There were many amusing parts in this one. Especially when that one cop didn’t know what fellatio meant. It’s a great film.

P.S. Merry Christmas!!
