Goosebumps (2015) Review

Directed by Rob Letterman

Starring Jack Black and Odeya Rush

Plot: A young man moves to a new town. He notices that his neighbors are a bit strange. It turns out that one of the neighbors is R.L. Stine, author of the “Goosebumps” books (Played by Jack Black). There’s some spooky stuff happening when one of Stine’s most memorable characters decides to free every monster locked away in the books!

Review: It was a fun movie! I grew up loving Goosebumps. I had toys and everything. This was pretty good.  This will be this generations “Hocus Pocus”. I believe the highlight of the movie was the monsters. The only downside of the movie is the two other male characters. Jack Black was solid, but the other two, not so much. Oh and the R.L. Stine cameo was pretty neat.
