Godzilla 1985 (1985) Review

Directed by Koji Hashimoto

Starring Raymond Burr

Synopsis: Completely ignoring every Godzilla movie before it, we see a new Godzilla appearing in Japan. Steve Martin (Burr) is brought back and watches as Godzilla terrorizes Tokyo. But this time in the 80s!!!

Review: Say what you will, I love the New World Godzilla 1985! It’s one that I adore. It’s without a doubt the scariest Godzilla flick, just by the scene where the bomb goes off in the atmosphere. Also, the saddest 😦 The Godzilla costume could’ve been better though. I was happy to see Raymond Burr return. Plus, Dr. Pepper played a huge part in it.
