Synopsis: A young man named Charlie peeps in on his neighbor after seeing him carrying a casket into his basement. Charlie discovers that the man is a vampire. The vampire isn’t very happy that he knows the secret. In a state of desperation, Charlie tries to recruit the famous horror film star, Peter Vincent (McDowall) who now hosts a horror show at a local station. Eventually, Peter joins Charlie in confronting the vampire!
Review: Hands down, the greatest vampire film from the 80s. It has an amazing atmosphere to it. Like, it’s the perfect 80s movie. Everybody gives a top 10 performance. The special effects were spot on and the direction was magnificent. Tom Holland is a very underrated director.
