13 Days of Christmas- The Gingerdead Man (2005)

On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…a killer gingerbread man voiced by Gary Busey!

Directed by Charles Band

Starring Gary Busey

Synopsis:¬†An executed killer is cremated and his ashes are sent to a bakery. A man’s blood drops into the mix and creates a little gingerbread killer!

Review: Not necessarily a Christmas horror film, nothing says Christmas much like gingerbread men! A very cheesy and schlocky film from Charles Band who gave us Puppet Master and Demonic Toys among other Full Moon classics. You see, I really love classic Full Moon but once they separated from Paramount, their movies became even more inferior.

This was very fun though. I guess it’s the addition of Gary Busey. The acting and direction is what you would expect.

  1. Whoever came up with the idea to take probably alien Gary Busey and have him play an evil Christmas cookie deserves some sort of an award. Even if the execution isn’t as good as the idea, this movie is indeed goofy enough to watch with some friends.

Did you try out the Full Moon streaming service? It’s got all the schlock you could want on demand, makes me feel like a kid locked in a video store.
