13 Days of Christmas- Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (2010)

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… Santa Claus buried in a mountain!

Directed by Jalmari Helander

Starring Per Christian Ellefsen

Synopsis: A company drills into a mountain for the body of Santa.

Review: It’s a very imaginative film. The dynamic between the young boy and his father grows and that is pretty good. I really enjoyed the locations of this film. One thing that I do have bring up is that close to the end, it seemed as if they just didn’t know how to end the film. We went through the whole film without visual effects and then all of the sudden, we get a hatched on solution, that is just laughable. But yeah, not exactly the worst movie in the world, not the best either. It’s in the middle somewhere.
